Brilliant Blue Show:
-An 80 minute performance of visual art and song based on Rachel
Taylor-Beales album, Brilliant Blue. Rachel presents 3 musicians
playing 14 instruments. Brilliant Blue takes a moody, musical journey
into a storm and out the other side. At times narrative and at times
conceptual, the performance integrates projected visuals that are
both ‘mangaesque’ style illustrations and real-time
video footage. A large-scale live painting is created by artist
and musician Bill Taylor-Beales at the finale of the show.
